Solid Base for our Foundation
The Foundation is not an organization just about retired service it is the embodiment of all Services members who have served both past, present and yes the future.
Officers and Soldiers currently serving are needed to not only perpetuate the foundation and its mission but to assist the foundation in recording new traditions, memorials and lineage that otherwise may be overlooked or forgotten.
Retirees provide a solid base for our Foundation, from our Board of Trustees, to organizing and executing events that showcase the 42d Infantry Division from past to present. Remember you didn’t have to serve in a specific 42d ID unit to be involved. Units attached for training, and those units imbedded in times of war are certainly welcome members to the RDVF.
