Welcome to the RDVF Historical Database. This is designed with the intent to share the history of the 42d Infantry Division from its earliest days in WWI to present day. It will serve as a resource library for all to conduct research and for families to look up their family members who served. The database contains thousands of digitized archives to include general orders, individual and operational records, books, photos and videos. The research experience and access to these materials will only continue to grow and improve over time as more families contribute and share their stories of the Rainbow.
